Bolivia is a landlock country in south America, it is known for its cultural wealth.

Bolivia also achieved independence from Spanish rule in 1825.

Landlocked Bolivia is equal in size to California and Texas combined. Brazil forms its eastern border.

More than 60% percent of Bolivia's citizens are indian, predominantly Quechua and Aymara.

It is common to see potatoes in some form served with almost every meal. pasta and rice are also favorites. Bolivians eat a lot more pork than people in the United States or Canada. Chicken and beef are also common. Sometimes they also eat goat, llama or guinea pig.

Lunch is the most importaant meal of the day in bolivia. I usually includes soup and a main dish.
